Kelly Washington??

What's the word on him? Is he likely to start at Cinci? Thinking
about grabbing him as my #4 WR in the 12th round.

Last I heard, he was still at No. 3 WR for the Bengals. Nothing came through to challenge that possibility that I knew.

I love Kelly "The Future" Washington's value. He's big, fast, and is improving on his route running. Even without Warrick's injury, Marvin said that they would compete for the #2 job. Now with Warrick missing all of this time in camp, Washington is in a prime position to see plenty of playing time. Regardless of what happens with Warrick, don't buy into the "who's number 2 and who's number three" stuff. Warrick is most effective in the slot. Washington is more suited to line up opposite of Chad. With a healthy Warrick, they will both get plenty of looks, but will obviously be secondary options to Chad, who demands the ball. Together, I'd call them WR2a and WR2b.

I would say this is a situation similar top that in tennessee... tyrone calico is technically listed as the number three but i see him having a better year than bennett.... As for washingto I think he will be a very good option and Peter Warrick will be relegated to slot duties... personally I would take washington in the 12th and hope that he shines a couple weeks into the season...

to add to this, in 3 WR sets, Warrick has been moved to the slot with Washington on the outside. Its only a matter of time before Kelly takes the #2 position for good.
