OK, it's early in the preseason yet -- however, Davis is missing valuable time with this lingering injury. Just posted at Yahoo, looks like he'll miss another preseason game:

Texans running back Domanick Davis did not fully participate in Tuesday morning's practice session due to continued soreness in his left ankle. Head coach Dom Capers told the Houston Chronicle that Davis would not play in Saturday's preseason game unless he is "totally healthy." Capers said Davis has some swelling in the ankle that bothers the runner when he attempts to cut at full speed.

Davis, who missed the team's first preseason game, is also nursing a sore quad. Capers just wants to be very cautious with his young running back, and the injuries also give backup Tony Hollings a chance to see extra playing time. Domanick is not in jeopardy of losing his job, but we're always a little worried when notable players can't shake injuries.
The really disappointing thing for me is that the second round of the draft is already riddled with question marks. We don't need one more!!

Apparantly Fanball didnt get the memo. With the news that Hollings will be getting 10-12 carries a game, what Fanball meant to say was that DDavis isnt in jeopardy of losing any more of his job.
Get off the DDavis bandwagon if you havent already.
I was never high on DD for this reason along with others... hes always been injury prone even dating back to college... He only played 10 weeks last year and he was hurt, what do you think is gonna happen over a full season... Thats why if you own DD you better get Hollings with him...
Tony Hollings has a good opportunity to show what he's got. He's looked good running the ball, but he needs to learn how to hold on to the damn thing. He had the same problem in limitted action last season.
Well, Domanick Davis has always been on the edge of getting hurt. His physical style of running is mainly influenced by his health status. When he is healthy he runs well, when he is feeling bad it really shows. IMO he is not worth picking up in the draft, maybe the waiver wire if you really need him.

Not worth picking up in the draft, pick him up off the waiver wire if you really need him? Good luck... he won't get out of the third round in most drafts.

Are you being serious? He's going in the mid-to-late 2nd round in most drafts
