good for you homeless......very exspensive rb....well put....I'll give Emmitt all the credit he deserves,,,but he does not deserve to make 10 mil this year...he does not deserve to "start"....he has a better chance of not splitting time going elsewhere....also if all these guys such as Elway,,T.Davis..McNair..to name a few keep restructering so their club can stay under why not Emmitt.....are we getting the whole story here....If Im Emmitt I restructure...he owes the cowboys as much as they owe him...he didnt sign all those O-linemen. just my two cents....cant get ya much..maybe a book o matches.

By what I've heard E. WAS willing to restructure. I do

not think Hambrick is a upgrade at all.

From what I know:
It ain't the money, it's about playing time and The Tuna (very wisely) stayed out of it.

If all I had was 3 RBs named Hambrick, Wiley and Dantzler - I'd be begging Emmitt Smith to run the ball.

This is the way Jerry Jones does business.

There is nothing worst than haveing to watch a ageing veteran pass his prime and Emmit is just that!!!!

Emmit Smith was a great back and I give him all the respect he deserves but you have to know when it is time to hang them up!! not that Emmit was ever fast but he has lost a step and he just looks like he is in slow motion out there.

He had only two good game last year and both were with something on the line he just doesnt have the ability to sustain what is needed all season long the body and the desire are gone and Emmit you will be one of the greatest but I think it is time for the booth and retire with your dignity in tacked.

Ooooooo. Do I detect ... just maybe ... the faint sound of:

Hail to the Redskins,
Hail victory!
Braves on the warpath,
Fight for old D.C.!
Run or pass and score,
We want a lot more!
Beat 'em, swamp 'em, touchdown,
Let the points soar!
Fight on, fight on,
'Til you have won,
Sons of Wash-ing-ton!

:-)

I'm saying yes Emmitt might have lost a step and

yes he might look like he is in sloww motion but

I think a washed-up Emmitt beats a full-strength

Hambrick hands down!!

Now if they can get someone like Davis that's a different story.
