trouble uploading an avatar

it keeps telling my i cant load something bigger than 6k. how is that possible?? the picture would look like crap. can someone help me. thanks

The size limit is 6000 bytes. The only thing I can suggest is to resize the image to a smaller size or optimize the jpeg or gif with an optimizing program (Photoshop has a built-in optimizer).

host the image somewhere and do the link with off site pic thing, and put the link to it

80 x 80,6k...sad but true.Maybe you could crop the pic...
