Can a FF code be made?

Postby eli4'05 » Wed Aug 18, 2004 8:20 pm

Just watched the "Bible Code" documentaries on History Channel and found it pretty interesting. Do I believe it? I'm still and probably will always be on the fence but I got the idea to try to make a "Fantasy Football Code" which could determine a players value :*) lol I know wacky but what the hay

The Running Back "Code/Equation"
(Note: these factors are in no particular order)
-where he stands on roster
-height
-weight
-prior experience in terms of how many attempts he had in the NFL
- number of years in the NFL
- his skill
- offensive line quality
- QB quality
- WR quality
- Has he just been traded to a new team?
- coach tendencies(marty ball, spurrier ball lol lol)

I'd love to hear feedback from you guys and girls(?) on whether this whole idea has any potential value, if so how etc. Thanks in advance

Sounds like the draft advisor on footballdocs does this. Don't know the code in it though.

I have no idea, but if there is one, I know King Ghidra will be the one to crack it... :-b

He has done some work on RB height/games missed stuff, so if he just takes it about 7 times further, you may have something useful.

I'm WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too lazy and unqualified for that. My FF code consists of looking at the college/conference the player came from. After that I go by who has the best haircut and thats how I make projections.
