I just read this at ESPN. Trung Canidate has signed with the Washington Redskins. He'll be competeing for the starting job with Kenny Watson and Ledell Betts. That makes things pretty interesting.
i dont think its a bad move. i actually liked what i saw of candidate when he subbed for marshall two years ago. the more rbs in the competition, the more likely we'll find a keeper...

I like Trung too. I think that being in Martz's dog house hampered his development. I think he'll be a good fit in Washington, assuming that he puts forth some effort and shows he wants the starting job.
Now all Spurrier has to do is start running the ball.
