not till u have depth at wr and at least one backup qb; a lot of the time u can get a handcuff off the FA list; but if u feel like u should draft the handcuff (steven jackson foe example) u can definitely do it in the last few rounds of the draft

I usually say about 6-7 rounds after you draft the player, depending on how viable his replacement is....

It really depends on who your working with for example you would draft D.Foster much before you'd draft someone like Larry Johnson.

I would go a little later than 6-10 with most guys, you can get away with taking a handcuff dead last round if it's just an unproven backup to a solid starter, but someone obvious like Steve Jackson with Marshall's injury history, etc. you'd probably have to grab fairly early (Jackson got snatched before the guy who drafted faulk could get to him in my league, bummer). IMO just another reason not to draft a guy like Faulk.

I think 7-9 round is good for a handcuff. Ealier for a really goodone who has a great cjhnce of playing. ;-D

I'm would only draft handcuffs for 3 guys now...Faulk, S. Davis, and J-Lew. Faulk and Davis because they will eventually get hurt. J-Lew because there is a good chance he'll miss atleast a couple games. Foster goes anywhere between the 8-11th rounds I think. Jackson, you can move that range back another draft spot or 2. I haven't seen M. Smith or C. Taylor being taken but I haven't done alot of drafts recently.
