From TSN:Desmond Clark - TE March 1, 10:50 a.m.
The Bears signed Clark to a six-year deal Saturday.

Does this have any fantasy impact, even a little?I mean Clark did pretty good as a FF TE 2 years ago,I had him on one of my teams. Also, didn't unknown TE John Davis start to have a decent season in the Bears O until injury forced him to miss a couple games.Could this be a sleeper TE in the making? What do you guys think?

It does have some fantasy impact Clark has pretty good hand and is big enought to block at the point of attack also the Bears run a West Coast O and the tightend will see a lot of passes. Clark is not going to put up Heap or Gonzo #'s but he can get u enough production to be a starter at TE

Once again it will depend on who is the Qb or da Bears. Potentially, this could be reaaaaal good for him.

Bears need to get a good QB and I think they can get a decent one in the draft and you know which one I mean ;-)

But Clark and Davis could be one good receiver at TE too many for any of the two to have a productive season.

He wouldve done well in Miami if he didnt get hurt and loose his spot to McMichael but i still think he could be a top 10 TE if the bears actually use him. and having him and davis in a two TE set i think would be a great option for the bears to use to help the running game, while being able to roll them out into the flats and gain yds through the air

I think his productivity will all boil down to who is throwin' the ball to him. The Bears need a QB who can actually be somewhat productive.

Desmond Clark???.....He doesnt have much impact on the game as far as a TE goes.....He is an average run blocker and not very good in pass blocking......As far as fantasy value goes, I think that he might be a very late pick up, but should be around after the draft as he is not worth considering over 20 other TEs
