I love it. ;-D

Me too, can't wait for the regular season, preseason loses its luster after about 13 seconds for me. Good luck this year.

Yea I know, preseason just don't feel the same because you know teams are not giving their all.

Like Edge said today that he was not really trying when he fumbled.

Did he really say that? I missed it (stopped watching after the starters came out).

Smart guy... Not exactly kissing up to owners who are trying to sell the public on high priced pre-season tickets. One would think he would would do whatever he could to be a model NFL "citizen" during his contract year.
Anyway, back to this thread... Alexander is the safer choice here. He has been consistanly better than Duece the last three years, as has his team. One could argue that Duece has more talent, but when the Saints inevidably disapear for weaks at a time, so do his TD totals. It is close, but for a #1 RB, I would rather have the proven runner in a good system than the talented runner with a spotty history on a team filled with question marks.

That was Portis vs. Alexander. I think Alexander is way to hyped up. For someone who gets as many TDs as he does, he rarely has a big week. His high point week last year was 23 against the Bears. Deuce had 16 TDs in 2002 and if he gets 400+ touches again this year there is no possible way that he gets less than 10 TDs. Plus for keeper leagues, keep in mind Alexander might not be the product of a fantastic offence and offensive line that he is in Seattle now if he is forced to sign somewhere else.
