IDP who double as returners? help me out!

Postby jjigglers » Sat Aug 21, 2004 6:49 pm

im looking for some defensive players who return kicks. my league has 3 flex D positions and awards 1 pt/25 return yards. a combo could be quite a game breaker.

my question: do any defensive players worth drafting also return kicks?

thanks

Azumah would be one to consider if he wasn't hurt. Buchanon returns kicks but I don't think that he's worth drafting.

D'Angelo is a promising 1st rounder in Atlanta with insane speed and also a nice leaping ability, should get a decent amount of pass deflections/interception while bringing up good yardage on punt returns.

Yes, Deangleo Hall might be a wise pick, but right now it is unclear who will be returning kicks and punts for the Birds. In the past it has been Allen Rossum and the staff says they still like him. In the past game rookie Michael Jenkins was getting a lot of time returning. Point is, it is unclear what the Falcons are going to do. Like S. Salisbury said the other day, it is hard to figure out what the Falcons will be doing this season because they haven't shown us hardly anything. That said, Hall may be a good pick regardless: he'll be a starter and the opposition will be throwing a lot at him. he looked great in game #1
