The Bengals just signed a Defensive Lineman from the Redskins named Carl Powell. I don't really know anything about him other than he started for the Redskins toward the end of last season, and that Marvin Lewis brought him into the league a couple of years ago with Baltimore and he's gone wherever Lewis goes. Apparently Lewis brought him into the league off the street, from what the report I read said. Does this guy have much potential. Lewis seems to speak pretty highly of him.

he was on the baltimore SB team as well, but didn't play...but from what i heard, lewis thinks the boy has some potential...

Drafted by Indy from Louisville in 1997 or '98. Little to no playing time. Played 15 games last season for the Skins, but only started the last four. Definately nothing special yet, but Lewis seems to think he has some potential for something.
