Tyrone Calico what do you think?

With McCareins now in NY, what do you think of Calico?

Will he find a connection with McNair, or will Mason and Bennett get all the receptions & touchdowns for Tennessee?

Calico will be a stud.
Grab him in the late rounds.
He and McNair established a nice connection
last season, and i think it will carry over to this year.

McCareins should also do well in NY.

Calico will see some action, but I think he'll be very inconsistent. Bennett was the starter over McCairens last year, most people don't realize that. He doesn't have the speed of McCairens or Calico, but he was always there when McNair needed him (minus the playoff drops). Calico will be a great dynasty pickup. Mason's due for a new contract in a couple years, & the Titans may not be able to afford him. If Calico develops this year, he could be the eventual replacement for Mason.

I don't know about this year, but to me it seems like Calico is bound to be a great player soon. He's got great size to go along with his good speed, which is a very lethal combo (TO anyone?).

For those of you who say grab Calico, is he worth dropping Roy Williams, whom I have currently on my bench?

I like Calico more this season... long term, I think Williams has much more upside. McNair to Calico in the red zone looks solid this year, he's a big target. Calico's biggest problem last year was making the routine catches, the tough to spectacular ones were no problem.

Calico will have 6-10 TD recepts this year. I think most people do not realize the size of this guy. He is tall, strong, and one of the fastest recievers in the league. If he can learn to hold onto the ball....WATCH OUT!!!

He has been availible on the wavier wire, but wont be for long after the season starts.
Draft on Aug 11th!!!

Look how similar he is to TO, in terms of size:

TO- 6'3", 222 lbs.
Calico- 6'4 226 lbs.

I say given the right opportunity, he could very well become a top WR in the near future.

I think Calico makes a solid pick this year, and will be one for several years to come. I think it was Mookie who had a thread a few days ago and brought up some good points as to why he has great potential.

Williams is in his first year, has Chrales Rogers to compete with and his QB is Harrington....
Calico is a year up on him, has McNair as a QB and will beat out Bennett...
