Booker trade effect on Thomas Jones?

I'll have to disagree wtih just about everyone. The bears new style of offense has to do with opening up the whole field. The reason they traded booker was not only to help their defense, but mainly to get rid of him! He doesn't fit their system. He is a possesion reciever that has never had much speed. Gage and Terrell will get down the field more, and if defenses play 8 men in the box all the time, they will be in for trouble. If anything, this will mean more holes for TJ, and more dump off passes as well.

Um, over the last 3 years he's had nearly 250 receptions and 2900 yards. Yeah, he has done nothing ;-7

Me neither. :-b

The Bears will srtuugle on offense alot this year. They have an unproven QB and WR corp. If they kept Dez White, we may not be having this conversation... but they didn't.

I agree with Flux. Over the last 3 years Booker has BEEN their offense.

He was their best reciever over the past 3 years. He accounted for the most recieving yards. He was their only semi-feared reciever. I cannot believe you would think that Booker had no major part in the Bears when he WAS the offense.

funny

Its funny when people talk about booker's lack of speed, but terrel is slower as f**k. Whoever said keepign dez white woudl have helped but is not around made a great point. Its not like we have 3 unproven wideouts battling it out to be the # 2, and 3, but we have 3 unproven wideouts batling for 2 starting spots. That seems too risky to me[/u]
