I would say 14-18 TD is a realistic expectation from green this year assuming no injurys. Also about 1500 yds rushing and 350 yrd recieving.

I have Green in my keeper league, so I have every reason to be overly-optimistic. I have to say though, it is unlikely he will duplicate last year's numbers. When a player has a career year, it is dangerous to assume he will do it again the following year. I put Green in the same category as Moss & Manning: Career year last year, expect a dropoff. Basing projections on 2 or 3 year averages will give you more accurate numbers IMO.

Wesley Walker wrote:1. Green's yards/carry were .6 higher than his career average last year (his total rush yards were 600 higher than his career average).

2. This year defenses will go into games knowing that Ahman is the offense now.

Two reasons why I doubt he can achieve those numbers again.

Defense's on other teams know Lt's is the ENTIRE offence in san diago, but look at him, still arguably the best rb in the league. It's skill that him and ahman have, and I'm gonna go with ahman and say that he'll get 2k yards this year..

I think that it's going to be hard for Green to match last year's numbers just because they were so incredible. That being said, I also think he's at least in the top 3 RBs in the league. With that O-line alone he should be in that group.
