NEW ORLEANS (March 2, 2003) -- The New Orleans Saints signed free-agent left tackle Wayne Gandy to a six-year contract.

This will no doubt help the production of both Brooks & McCallister providing some extra protection for Brooks & some extra push up front in the running game.
Gandy has been able to stay healthy,"The 6-foot-5, 308-pound Gandy played with the Steelers last season, and started every game since he joined the team in 1999. He missed only one start with the Rams, who drafted him in 1994 with the 15th overall pick.",a very good addition to an already solid offense.

The Saints also signed Ashley Ambrose on the other side of the ball.

I agree Indy I am going to ride McAllister all the to the championship this year.

Ambrose should provide some much needed help in the secondary he is an upgrade for sure.

I also heard that the Saints signed Orlando Ruff at LB from the Chargers, he is to replace Clemons.
