difference bet. rank and o-rank on yahoo

in yahoo rankings there is a column called rank and one called o-rank; im pretty sure o is for overall, but whats the difference?

and also, what does rbbc mean as opposed to rb

O-rank is (I think) off-season rank. I am almost cetain that in my baseball league O-rank hasnt changed all year. Rank is changed as the season progresses.

That's what I've always assumed too although they don't define them in their help section.

O-rank is there overall rank through several years more going for how consistant they are year to year. There rank is what they rank at that paticular time.

Either way I would not rely on Yahoo. O Rank is far from accurate considering it is basically their opinion, and Rank only follows one standard scoring system I believe.

The O-rank is similar to the "KFFL" ranks they used last year. They have some outside resource rank all the players.

The other rank goes by total fantasy points scored on the default Yahoo settings.

Both rankings will probably change during the year.

Actually, I think the rank is how the players rank based on your leagues scoring system. In my non 5x5 baseball league, the ranks are different from my 5x5 league. For football IDPs, its all screwed up, with NFL bench players ranked ahead of Ray Lewis.

The O-rank does change during the year, at least for baseball. I think for baseball that its the three year averages method, so the current year is factored into that. Not sure about football though.
