mcnair is extremely underrated. Here's some points per game #'s from last year:

Daunte: 17.8
McNair: 16.25
Hassellbeck: 13.95
Pennignton: 11.15

Yea, mcnair is AWESOME and is a STEAL in the 5th round. He may miss 1 or 2 games throughout the year, but he plays hurt, and plays well. I would not settle for a pennington when i can grab mcnair.

As for those saying the loss of mccareins will hurt him, you're absoutely wrong. Calico is an even better red zone threat who will see more playing time this year. Bennett does just as well as mccareins and they still have mason. That's a SOLID WR corp and mcnair is an awesome QB.

I was looking over Georges stats from last year and he wasn't as bad as everyone seems to think he was. Still over 1000 yards even with the injury. I doubt Brown will be better. Mccareins (sp?) is lost and IMO thats a big blow to Mcnair. i can't see him putting up BETTER numbers, he'll struggle to even stay the same.

Over 1000 yards, maybe because he was the only guy that got a handoff pretty much. Do i have to bring out his yards per carry? i guess so. Here it is:

Not to mention you only need to get 60 yds a game to reach a thousand... Id say the barometer now should be at 1300 yds for a good season.... Kevan Barlow only had 7 less rshing yarsd thean eddie last year and he only started 4 games....

One thing no one is mentioning, is with Volek as a backup, the
Titans won't hesitate to sit McNair when he is injured. McNair will
play thru anything, but it ended up costing the Titans against
the Patriots- does anyone really doubt a mobile McNair would have beaten NE? He could barely walk and almost pulled it off.
If you have McNair, grab Volek in the last round.

volek is also a very capable backup. He put up nice numbers in mcnair's absence.

No need to, Volek will be sitting in the FA. Why waste a draft pick/roster spot on him when u can wait until Mcnair is injured to pick him up in the FA
