Salary Cap Strategy

Postby rivengard » Mon Aug 23, 2004 6:36 am

I've moved up to the Ultimate Salary Cap competition on TSN and I was wondering if you knowledgeable FF people could help me fine tune my game.

How do you balance scoring points and expanding your salary cap by putting potential price movers on your roster? Which is more important? When do you aim to have a 'finalized' roster, if ever?

I've got a plethora of questions on this topic, but I'll see if there is any interest in answering those first.

Also, what are peoples' thoughts on Chris Brown and Ron Dayne as 2nd tier backs?
When will the Giants win the SuperBowl again?
Please Lord, let it be this year.

TSN Thoughts

I like Chris Brown this year. I remember him steamrolling Texas a couple of years ago and he doesn't seem to have stopped since going pro. He's looked really good in preseason and I have him on 2 teams because he is so cheap. He should easily start over Antowain Smith.
