TE's in the preseason...

Is there a rule that coaches must abide by in the preseason that states they are not to utilize their TE? I was watching the KC-STL game and I didn't even SEE Tony Gonzalez...he's not hurt is he? The only TE I've heard anything about in the preseason has been the "f***ing soldier"...I know Heap and Shockey have been fighting injury, but what about the other guys like Crumpler, Boo Williams, and Tony G?

Where are these guys?

I'm not sure about most of the other TEs but Gonzo doesn't need a heck of a lot of practice. No reason to risk an injury.

I watched the beginning of the NO-GB game (on NFL Network!). I saw Boo out there; I thought he caught one, but that stats say he didn't. I believe he was thrown to twice. The thing that really annoyed me was that Conwell caught 2 or 3!

On the depth chart Conwell is #2, but are they going the way of Indy and using both guys to throw to?

I was wondering this myself. I was thinking that Conwell would take on the blocking role and Boo would be involved in the passing game, but you never konw.

Tony G played in the STL/KC game but Green just didn't throw too him even once.

Boo was dropping alot of easy passes in the NO games the other day.
