Jenkins will not be a break out receiver.
His problem at Ohio State was he was a finesse player. He has never tried to be a physical receiver, and I hope Atlanta can correct this.
I still feel to this day Ohio State would have won the Outback Bowl in 2000 when we lost to South Carolina. Steve Bellisari launched a huge fade to Jenkins. Jenkins gives up on the ball as it was out of his reach and stops running. The DB for the Gamecocks goes after it and intercepts. Gamecocks ball with a minute to go and drove the ball onto the OSU side of the field, and win with a last second field goal.
If Jenkins would have been a little physical and beat the DB, the outcome could have been different.
To Jenkins credit, he runs crisp routes, has great hands, and knows the playbook pretty well.
The guy who's gonna be big for the Buckeyes in the NFL is Chris Gamble if he can learn not to bite on a play action.
