Kevin Jones. The Lions remind me of the early 90's and the emergence of the triplets of Dallas, only they have quadruplets. I'm crossing my fingers that KJ will unseat SA or J.Lewis as keepers on my team.
Roster: 12 Team League
QB: Palmer, Plummer
RB: S. Alexander, J. Lewis, J Jones, S Jackson, Gado
WR: Mason, R Williams, Engram, Chatman, Ferguson
TE: Witten
DEF: Jax
K: Stover
However, I think I would rather have a lion than a Brown or a Dolphin this year.
"Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time."
Fitz is a very good choice and very well could do it.
I don't think Kevin Jones will because, well until proven otherwise Joey Harrington is a train-wreck catastrophe of a QB that is going to bring that offense down despite the talent surrounding him.
The only rookie I want on my fantasy team is Sean Taylor if I was playing in an IDP league. Or maybe Steven Jackson because Marshall Faulk will get a yeast infection.

Yeast infection. Needed that smile BH!
Rookies are that commodity that you just have to expect nothing and reap any rewards that they give ya. Boldin had a great year last year, but when did he get picked up off waivers? I think you can enhance your team with them, but if you're going to depend on them, enjoy watching and not participating in the playoffs.
On that note, I like the Kevin Jones pick. But I'll go in a different direction. Although I don't particularly like him as a person, as a player, I think K Winslow Jr. makes the biggest impact from a Rookie. I think Garcia (or as my other favorite person, TO would call him, Rat) makes KWII his favorite target, especially in the Red Zone.
Unless he's having menstrual cramps like Marshall... (that one's for you BH. )
Bills Fan trapped between Philly and Bal-mer.
Lord, give me strength....
If you have been reading the MIKL thread, you would see that talented rookie RBs do succeed when placed into positions of immediate impact. There are situations where they dont do well too - but blanket statements about rookies is the wrong approach - every situation needs to be evaluated on a case by case basis.
Ill cut and paste the list of RBs who had immediate impact yrs in the NFL - it pretty much reads as a whos who of current keepers in fantasy leagues:
Look at these RBs rookie yrs - the () are the rd they were drafted into the NFL:
MFaulk (1st rd Pick)
Edge (1st)
FTaylor (1st)
JLewis (1st)
LDT (1st)
George (1st)
DDavis (4th)
Portis (2nd)
ATrain (2nd)
Dillon (2nd)
CMart (3rd)
I was gonna let this die, but seriously dude, I like how you discount any RB that flopped when not in a "good situation," but ANY RB that exceeded you say was in a good situation, lmfao.
Since when is 3rd string on a team in its second year with a dreadful O-line a good situation (DD)?
Would you consider Tatum Bell to be in a good situation? He's in a much better situation than Portis was...
