The kid looked pretty good on MNF - they even threw one to him in the red zone (incomplete) showing they're not afraid to throw to him down there.
But they did explain why Martz was down on him early in camp (when he made his comment about Jackson being a long, long, long way away from being ready). They said he didn't rehab his bad knee properly in the off-season and as a result wasn't ready for the rookies' mini-camp and so didn't bother showing up when Martz had scheduled the camp especially for Jackson. And then when he did finally show up for camp, he wasn't in shape.
Obviously the kid has talent - but does he have an attitude problem? I'm not saying he does, just asking - haven't heard much about this before. Is this why Parcells passed on him, or was it because of his knee - or did he really think Jones was just as good?

I agree with you that he looked pretty good on MNF. I believe i read some where that Martz plans on giving S Jackson a few carries a game to relieve Marshall for air.

But watching the Rams O-Line...I am very suspicious that Marshall will have a great season. The O Line was terrible. The couldnt protect a bank safe.

Someone please phone Orlando Pace and tell him to sign already!

I honestly don't know what to say, he doesn't seem like a headcase to me.

I was dissapointed when he missed practices and got on Martz' bad side but I think Martz made a lot of those comments just to get him back in check.

Yeh, I hadn't really heard much negative on him so I was just wondering.

I thought Martz' negative comments went farther to show how worried he is about Faulk and how important it could be for Jackson to get in, get signed and get in shape!
