Who makes the best cheat sheets?

Postby flycasters_ffc » Tue Aug 24, 2004 1:40 pm

My question to you ff freaks - Who makes the best cheat sheets - ones that consistantly predicts the best players of the season?

I have been using sportingnews.com. They are good in that you get up to date information but I have questioned many of their rankings.

Thanks for your help. My draft is coming up.

Hands down this is the best site that I've seen for cheatsheets. This isn't about pundits trying to prove who is the smarter guy and who can get the best sleeper out there, this is all about ranking the best players up and donw. ;-D ;-D Great job and thanks to all who put in the work to make it all happen.

You have to take a look at Gil Brandt on NFL.com also, he's not always dead on, but who is?

MadScott really hit it... they really do like to be able to look back and say, 'remember last year, we gave you X, we told you he was going to break out..." So many times they are just guessing.

Who makes the best cheet sheets? I do. When I'm in a championship at the end, I want it to be because I said Moulds would be a top 8 receiver, or that Clayton was the rookie WR that was going to be an impact... it is part of the reason to play.

The draft by about loses all cred since Q. Griffin wasn't picked in the first 10 rounds.

And that Daunte was the 4th QB off the board.

The cheat sheets up here currently are excellent, but keep in mind that a good cheat sheet is just the beginning of draft strategy. You need to print it out and pencil in changes where you disagree with the order. If you're gut instincts disagree to a small degree (for example, I don't see any way you can draft Bennett over Dillon, since Dillon is a better candidate for touchdowns, so I'd move Dillon ahead of Bennett) then just make the adjustment and don't worry about it. If you're REALLY at odds with the order (for example I like Lee Suggs and would move him up at least six spots mentally) then you should probably compromise and move him up some (so you'll get him) but not too much (to where you'll overpay for him).
