Actually, the latest reports were that the job was the bus's to lose, and he was the starter on all depth charts.

But like i said, this wasnt a huge surprise to me, or anyone i assume. (except maybe the bus)

I had no idea the Bus was in serious contention for the starting job, this doesn't change my thoughts on Staley at all.

I think most of us assumed without a doubt that Staley would win the job. It would have been a shocker if he hadn't. Nice to have some confirmation though.
