need some help starting my Madden league....

I am starting a Madden league with some friends and co workers. We have 18 teams and are wanting to get the season off pretty soon. It is going to be a 17 week season with playoff's, division champs and, of course, the #1. We would like to play 2 games a week until the playoffs with either 2 divisions of 9 or 3 divisions of 6. What I need is some help with the scheduling.....any suggestions?? thanks in advance for your help.

Hmm, off hand there are 2 ideas I have:

1) The first being the most basic...I'd open up an excel spreadsheet, listing the 18 teams and just creating a matchup from there, keeping track of how many teams have played each other each week...gets tricky in the latter weeks tho.

2) The 2nd being a little off-the-wall...try going to a fantasy football website such as http://www.fantasyfreaks.net, and set up an 18 team league. Hopefully the site will create a schedule for you, and you can just view the schedule and replace the fantasy teams with the Madden teams. Of course you might run into some problems with getting 18 members...you might have to have like 18 different user names
