Prose is ordinary language, as opposed to poetry or songs.
Ordinary speech or writing, without metrical structure.
Commonplace expression or quality.
This cracked me up. Mookie, you kill me.
Two points:
1. I got the "prose" bit, but I didn't think it was a very good play. Hell, you kind of have to cater to your crowd.
2. While the "con" side definitely wrote a better article, I think this is very much up for debate. I know he's relatively new, but Lloyd is just too talented for people to not key on him as well. With his talent he'll (hopefully) open up the field to his other receiver with double teams. On top of that, if you want to open the backfield up for Barlow you just have a couple of 3 WR sets with a little TE movement. This seems to work well for San Diego (although I'm certainly not comparing Barlow to LT2). Then you can always swing him outside for a short pass and let him run. He's got the hands to do it and certainly the running skill.
In all, I still believe Barlow is going to be a great #2 back. I have him in my "big money" league so I'm certainly going to have to eat it if this doesn't pan out.
