I took McCardell as a late round gamble. Im betting they work something out and he plays. If not, no real problem for me because I drafted him very late.

That's my thinking as well. If he decides to come back you've got yourself a top WR for almost nothing. If he doesn't come back you can always cut him an pick up someone who surprises.
