One preseason game and he's all of a sudden a washed up player? If he cuts his Int rate in his second full season as the high powered Rams QB he will be a top 3 player at his position. Ed Werder of ESPN said the StL coaching staff feels that Bulger COULD be the best Quarterback the Rams have ever had, now that is saying something in terms of fantasy numbers.
I hope people in my live drafts rate Bulger as low as some people do around here. I have seen him as high as 13th at his position on some recent lists.
Leave it to a Gator to not realize that the offensive line makes the QB... And the line in St. Louis is looking pitiful... I commented on the situation in this thread... Read it:
The love is gone just like their O-line is gone you blind moron.
They are looking bad bad bad. And it doesnt matter if it's pre-seadon, I can still see they can't even do anything against another teams back-ups.

I dont think anyone is really arguing whether or not he is washed up. Bulger would get more love if he could get more time behind his o-line. From the preseason it seems that he wont have that. He will be hurried and when ANYONE is rushed they will eventually start trying to make things happen and make poor decisions. We all know he has a high INT ratio right now. I'm not saying he will throw more INT's this year, but at one point we were expecting it to go down. I think it stays just where it is.

Well aide from the whole possibly not having either of his starting Tackles on the field, there are many other reasons he's not getting the love.
1) You mentioned how much better he'd be if he cut back on INTs, you're right. Fact is, he hasn't done that yet, so his value is dropped because he throws about 1 INT per TD. In fantasy terms, that means you're usually getting 2 less points per TD, instead of 1 less point (good QBs should have closer to a 2:1 ratio).
2) The running game. Its great to have a stellar running game for a QB because it relieves a lot of pressure and opens up the passing game. Well, not many people are counting on 16 games from Faulk, and Jackson while he has a lot of hype around him, is an unproven rookie. In short, the Rams offense is going to have to rely on the pass moreso than before, and defenses should be able to key on it because of that.
I've very high on Bulger talent-wise. I'm not so high on him fantasyfootball-wise. The run game has been depleting the last 2 years. The O-Line is really banged up. He himself looks shaken up from all the presure.
Did anyone see the game against KC where he was rushed at his own 2 yard line and he just backhanded the ball into the air. He was lucky enough that it was caught by his own fullback but those types of play are very dangerous with so many defenders around. (Those who saw the play know what I'm talking about, for the rest of you its kinda hard to imagine exactly how he did it.)
Bottom Line: I drafted Bulger before the O-Linbe sucked and I had any type of look at Marshall Faulks running game. Therefore I drafted him high (sadly to say, over Favre), but with all this information coming in I would drop him a ton of spots.
