Draft Ricky?

Now that Ricky Williams has officially retired should he be allowed to be drafted? How are league owners handling this?

He seems done for this year but in keeper leagues I think having Ricky would still be valuable.

Ricky should still be allowed to be drafted. In all Yahoo Leagues, he's available near the bottom of the list. Yes, he may come back, but he wouldn't be playing until 2005 at the earliest, from what I've read in multiple sources. In a dynasty league, he has some value near the end of the draft, but I wouldn't personally draft him in anything but a dynasty league.

However, for all of us bloodthirsty FF vampires now is a good time to prey upon those less knowledgeable than we. An unsuspecting chap in one lg of mine dropped Galloway for Ricky. Not that Joey is a Jewel but I like his odds of playing compared to Ricky's....

hes not playing this year, thats for sure, and you could bet moeny that it wont be at least two years from now (due to violation).
