Special Plays

Postby Warpigs » Thu Aug 26, 2004 9:17 am

Hello all. In typical fashion, I continue to teeter-totter on who I want to take in our local fantasy league's Madden 2005 X-box tournament for FF draft picks. Thanks FreeBagel and all for your help earlier on DFoster/SDavis. I played with them both and was able to do the Rest RB idea to perfection.

However, I also played with several other teams, and fell in love with the Seahawks' overall balance. They have one of the best defenses in the game, a great offense and a variety of plays that I love to use.

My question for the gaming-world experts is: Are there any plays from the Seahawks' playbook that really "melt your butter"? I've found that I love the Singleback Big package and the plays available there. Any other favorites with the Seahawk offense?

Seahawks? Must be joking ^.^ Go with the Titans man and I will show you how to play with them. =P Im pretty good and since Eddie George is so overrated on that game, he can bust it up and you can switch him and Chris Brown in and out of plays plus you have Calico who is extremely fast and most defenders can't even touch him=Titans are awesome. Instant me or something and we'll play sometime. ;-D

I think that since it's on the Xbox they'll be playing with the online updated rosters.

I havent played Madden 05 yet because it was stolen out of the backseat of my car because I didnt put the top up and I don't want to plop down another $35 to buy another one. I'm sticking with ESPN 2K5.

But from the 04 game, I liked to run the HB counters with Shaun Alexander and Mo Morris. Those plays were key to me winning 98% of my games.

I never said it was better than 05. But maybe I'll rent it tonight.

:-b No worries, just pointing it out to ya ;-D But come on now, you gotta at least try Madden before you judge it. I have both, and believe me, Madden is the game you'll be playing more than anything once you get the taste of 05. It's totally different than 04...all about defense and realistic scores, which I think makes it more fun. ;-D
