"The Browns' quarterback situation continues to get more muddled by the day. Couch met with coach Butch Davis and did not get the assurance he wanted that he's the No. 1 guy. Davis just told Couch to keep working hard and to continue to do what he has been doing. So it appears there will be at least some form of open competition for the job between him and Kelly Holcomb -- that is, if neither is traded. Couch appears disgruntled with that, and as such, he is not giving the Browns what they would like -- the willingness to restructure his contract to create more room under the salary cap to sign players. With all this, the Browns don't really have a quarterback controversy. They have a potential quarterback time bomb."

Why can't Davis just realize how much of a baby this kid is and get rid of him?!?! Everyone else in the world can see it!! If I were Davis and I saw this...I would walk right over to Timm-mmay, give em a swift kick up the arse and say take ur ball and GO HOME!!! Who needs this big of a crybaby on their team?? Does Butch think this kind of press is good?? Does he actually believe a guy who has done nothing more than embarrass himself in front of the nation has the ability to actually lead??? I'm still tryin to figure out why this bumpkin was even selected in the first round!!!! Butch, if you're listening, just send this Hazard County reject packin...it's off to Uncle Jessie and Cletus' Garage for this drippy nose, teary-eyed rodneck!!! AAARRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!! :-P

They're gonna go with Couch, he's the franchise guy and several years younger than Holcomb. If it were me I'd deal Couch, not that he'd be worth much though.
