Reasons for early drafts

Draft Date week before 1st preseason game. RIDICULOUS TIMING

#1 Reason my league is Stupid, BIG MONEY LEAGUE TOO, doesnt make much sense.

#2 Reason only time we can get together LIVE DRAFT(no computers) people from LA and San Diego. We had one guy draft via phone like an idiot.

#3 REASON creates $$$$$. each transaction is $1 and it builds the pot.

#4 Reason We are collectively IDIOTS

Using Yahoo for mocks when everyone in the league knows it is a mock is one thing....

Joining a public league so you can draft and then never go back is an asshole thing to do....

Couldn't agree more. I've been using yahoo since they have been offering fantasy football. If you can get in the winners leagues,which isn't that hard, it's kind of competitive. I use those for early season drafting but I play them just like I play my money leagues. We also use yahoo for the money leagues. It's a good host for free. If you want to mock go to antsports.

Yeah, with Favre 17-4 vs. the Bears, I guess that's understandable.

haha ouch. but about the yahoo leagues I do think it is pretty low. the worst is people who join them and draft then drop all their players. and really, how does a public league help at all? if anything it gives off wrong ideas that you an steal plaeyrs late because everyone in your league is drafting vanderjagt in the e second round.
