The U-Conn womens bball team had won 70 straight games... they were just upset by villanova. wow 70 straight games! . it was a pretty good ending though :-)

Anyone see ESPN SportsCenter this morning?
They did the Top-10 countdown thing re: streaks.
Tiger Woods - a bazillion rounds at par or better.
Pete Rose - a bazillion games with at least 1 hit.
#1? UCLA men's basketball.

Something like 83 games in a row(!) until Notre Dame finally knocked them off.

That may well be the ONE record in sports that will never, EVER be beaten.
