I saw that Chris Samuels went down with an injury last night. Does anyone know how serious it is? If it is serious Portis may be in for some serious trouble. Two best O-lineman going down doesn't bode well for a RB used to the Broncos line. Roseanne Barr could play FULLBACK in Denver and rush for close to 1,000 yards, easily.

They said he's day-to-day, and he didn't look like he was in much pain (severe sprains hurt like hell), so I'd say he'll be fine.

I was huge on Portis last year. This year I'm going to pass on him. He's going to have to prove it to me this year. A number of things that concern me about him makes me not want to take him with my 1st round pick.

depends where you pick i guess.. I originally had him as my fourth overall but recently he's fallen to 7th which rounds out the bottom of my second tier. Would love to get him with my 10th pick in a 10team league but no way I see him falling that low even with these Oline issues

But I miss Jon Jansen.

Ive dropped Portis from 3rd to 4th. He's probably only that high because I'm a homer, so I can see taking him a bit lower. I wouldnt let him drop lower than 6th however, behind LT, Holmes, Green, Deuce, and Alexander.
