What is up with Corey Dillon?

Postby WittDogg1 » Wed Mar 12, 2003 10:25 pm

I really like his work ethic, but I know he is frustrated. I even heard he was thinking about retiring last season! Will this year be a good year, or is he just a waste of talent on a poor team? I need some input from all of the Bengal fans out there, I need to know what to expect from him or if I should consider him trade bate? p.s. I traded David Boston and James Stewart for Dillon at the begining of last season... :~(

I would love to see Dillon put on an Cowboys uniform. If Emmitt Smith can go for a 1000 ther is no tellin what dillon would do. and we would also not demand the HUGE dollars other backs ask for.

I wouldn't consider him trade "bait" at this time at all, because his value is not very high at this point. With a new coach coming in and a new season coming, your best bet would be to stick with him for now and hope he finds the endzone more often, because I don't think you would get a whole lot for him at this point, and he is still a great back.

My advice...don't only ask Bengal fans what they think...

that's like asking only Redskin fans what they think about all these recent signings....or if Canidate is the next Holmes...

SAY AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I say hang onto him for a little while yet. Unless somebody offers you something absolutely ridiculous for him, I'd keep him. As was stated, there is a new coach and that might be what the doctor ordered in Cincy. Who knows?

I'm a Bengals fan, but I think they should trade him. Get him to a place he can shine, to a team that wants him, and get some young talent out of the trade and draft a rb

i have to agree with all of you that Dillion would be a better player on a different team you know one that could stop other teams and sustain long drives. We will see this fall if there is a Bengals jinx all you have to do is look to Buffalo
