How bad is he hurt.....I think he will be fine by the start of the season.....What do you think.

Yah, he'll be fine. It's just minor stuff I'm sure. I heard someone else mentioning on this site that the speedy guys all have issues with the hammies at some point, so as of now, I think there's nothing to be concerned about...I hope so at least!!!

Here is some news as of 8/29/04
Seems to me that he has just been resting the first 3 preseason games. He should be okay to go pending nothing happens to S MOss on Friday against Philly.

Probable Moss (hamstring) will practice this week and play a few snaps against the Eagles Friday night to help prepare him for the season opener, Newsday reports. "He needs to run around and get somebody to smack him in the head," coach Herm Edwards said.

We don't think that there is anything wrong with Moss. Edwards said he would have played in Friday's game against the Giants had it been the regular season.

Ye I agree that he'll be fine.

BUT, it's worth considering that smaller, speed guys like Santana and Steve Smith are a bit more injury prone than receivers who rely more on the hands and route-running (Hines Ward) or on the ability to go up and get the ball (The Other Moss, T.O.).

I think he'll be fine, there are always plenty of small injuries that wont affect the actual season in the preseason... IMO this is one of them
