what is your lineup and remember e.smith and j. bettis are aging. It is tough call 8-o

I do know minn. qb is more scrambler and more focus to pass r. moss more than hand off to m. bennit, but who know?

i think michael bennett is worth a #2 rb spot. bettis and smith for bennett is a tough call, it would depend on ur roster. if u have good depth and want to trade for a better player than its not a bad idea.

before u accept it try to get the other guy to add in a lower level rb like a thomas jones, for depth's sake.

I agree with Terpfan. I would try to get another guy out of the deal.

My first thought is that you shouldn't make this trade unless you can get someone else solid in addition to Bennett. Bennett is fairly untested in a usually pass-dominant offense. In addition, since good RB's are so hard to come by and are getting injured all the time, it's important to have a really good secondary and a solid back-up in case one of the top guys goes down. Bettis and Smith are not great backs, but are solid. Remember, too, Smith is trying to break a record this year.

If you think you can get Bennet and ANOTHER decent RB, then I'd make the trade. Otherwise, sit on it. But it all depends on who you already have on the roster.

Who's your #1 RB? What is the rest of your team like?

Michael Bennett

Don' make that trade!!!! Smith's value will decline after he breaks the record and Bettis does not look like he ever recovered from last year's injury. He looked horrible Monday night and could not even carry the load. He was splitting carries with Amos Zeroue. Bennett on the other hand had 53 yards on just 12 carries. It was 100 degrees and against a good Bears defense. He won't split carries with his backup when the heat is not a factor. His spped makes him perfect for that offense (remember Robert Smith?) and the pass happy culpepper/moss combo will force defenses to roll their safety's into coverage which means less men in the box to defend the run. Look for Bennett to have around 1,200 yards and 6-8 TDs.
