You're going to run across this anytime there is money involved. $30 or not, some people just lose their integrity when there's $1 involved. Veto it immediately, but don't raise a huge stink about it. It's obvious but not a slap-in-the-face trade (ie,Moss for Lelie) and you'll come across as a whiner if everyone else doesn't back you. Just do your ownership duty, veto, and move on.

I think that both trades are legit and don't deserve a second thought. By the way I have bridge for sale if anyone is interested. Veto the trade or ask the Commish to review it for a reversal.

Especially in a money league, those trades are vetoable. I might let the 2nd trade slide, though I'd definately veto the first

Hard as always to call it collusion. But the one owner is a moron. Not one of the 3 players is better than the other 3 he gave up.

Thanks for all the responses. Just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing an injury or anything else that might make this trade seem fair.

As for the points about collusion. The reason I have to think it is collusion is that 10 of the guys are from one "area". The one of the ten that took over as running the league then said he could get the 2 more guys to fill in. This trade was between the commish and one of the "friends" he brought to play.

I am interested to see how it plays out. I have brought it up with the league.

Wow - harsh! The commish is in on the trade?!? That makes the whole league seem rather fishy when you can't trust the one who is in charge. If i were in your shoes and just happened to join this league and saw this happen with the commish of all people right after the draft, i'd probably be looking to get my money back and try to find another league to put the money into before it's too late.

I would hate to go through the entire season wondering what's going to happen next.

Yeah, when you see something like that on the first day, you can bet you'll be seeing more down the line.
