Easily Ray Lewis. He defines the team's personality, is arguably the ultimate field general and is the most dominant player in the NFL.

Peyton Manning is the best talent at QB, but i think the best QB, who is Joe Montana-esque is Tom Brady.

How could u pick an Olineman!

Postby grebnots » Mon Aug 30, 2004 8:49 pm

in my mind Manning would prob be my pick.... lt cant control the game like manning can... and neither can lewis.... u can always pass to someone who ray isnt gaurding... but if u pick manning, then he will significantly have an effect over the course of the game. and ps... the o line doesnt matter if you dont have a good enough qb or rb

If its just for short-term its obviously Ray Lewis, but if I'm building a team, I want someone who can play for me for 7-10 more years.

Position by position:

QB- Manning
RB- LT2
WR-Randy Moss
TE- Winslow
OL- Jonathan Ogden
DL- Mike Rucker
LB- Ray Lewis (at least for a while)
DB- Champ

But for just 1 player, it would have to be LT2, because the guy can do everything but placekick (and I'm not sure he can't do that, either).

Manning, Lewis and Ogden are easily my concensus top three. Three most important positions when building a team.

I have to say LT would be my pick. With a good supoorting cast LT would likely rush for around 2000 yards a season and with his recieving abilities and young age that would make him the dominant threat. My belief is you cannot win with a good passing game and a mediocre running game, but you CAN win with a good running game and a mediocre passing game.
