10 Team Draft
At the 10th and 11 picks I took:

10. E. James
11. F. Taylor

Still available 1. Rudi Johnson 2. Kevin Barlow
I spent hours researching using cheatsheets, ADP, VBD, etc. (like all of geeks do) and I'm still unsure.

Tell me, Why should I feel good about taking F. Taylor???

How many TD's will G. Jones steal at the goaline???

Agreed. But you just never know, he may rush for 1,600 yards and 14 touchdowns.

I REALLY like that RB combo to start off your team.

Fragile Freddy??????? This is the most confusing reputation i have ever seen. The guy has been hurt once in like 4 years. I don't understand how he is still considered such an injury risk..

can someone plesae explain the logic behind this to me?????

I wouldn't worry too much about Jones, word is he's dissappointed thusfar.

Taylor hasn't really gotten many TD's the last couple year's yet he's still a late first rounder. His draft spot is indicative of that performance, so based on where he's being drafted he's expected not to put up many TD's, yet his few TD's coupled with his yds still puts him right around the top 10 mark.

So, even if he doesn't get the TD's he's still putting up total points worthy of the spot you're taking him, and if he does manage to crack the end zone he could bolster right up the rankings.

Jacksonville also seems to be a team on the rise, which bodes well for their RB.

I'm more concerned with the last 2 yr TD totals.
He played in 16 games both years.

2002 - 8 Td's
2003 - 7 Td's

I'd like to see about 12 this year, but I'm worrying about G. Jones getting 4-5 goaline scores.

Fred Taylor is a GREAT #2. He has rushed for yards and TD's though not in the same year and if he can put it together he will be a top 5 back.

Barlow is on an offense that is B A D. teams are going to key on him and unless you think he is the next version of LT2 that is just a bad situation to be in.

Rudi had a nice half of the year last year but they are basically starting a rookie at Qb (looks good but who really knows) and they didn't draft a RB in round 1 just because he was the best player on the board.

So you have a player in Taylor who you know has been a work horse, scored TD's and rushed for well over 1000 yards the last two years. He has upside if he puts both the yards and TD's together.

I also like Edge coming on strong this year. You have two strong RB's that have as good a chance as any to be top 5 this year.
