Need some affirmation - F. Taylor!

Taylor has been healthy the last two years, so I don't think it's neccessarily fair to still call him "Fragile Freddy". I don't think he's any more injury prone than any other NFL feature back.

From what I've read, the 3 years in his career that he missed a large number of games also was him being "catious". Now that he's more seasoned and knows he needs to be tougher even if he does get hurt he won't sit out unless it's a major injury.

Well, again that's what I've read. Since I don't know him I can't say that for sure so be critical of my statement.

Having said all that, I have him in my 14 team league (via the #10 pick) and I'm only mildly worried. If he falls I'm not certain Kevan Barlow and Quentin Griffin are going to win my league or even get me close. You never know though...

At 10 and 11 I would have taken Edge and a top wideout, maybe Holt since taking Marv would give you 2 guys on the same team, although I'm contemplating taking Moss and Culpepper so what do I know.

I ended up with Edge/Harrison in rds. 1 & 2, I'll let you know how it works.

As for Fred, he had a monster 2nd half of last year which helped the team out tremendously. I think Del Rio gets that in order to win, the ball's got to go through Fred's hands. What I don't get is the lack of TD production that he's had. Perhaps that will change somewhat this year. I read that same article where he said that he didn't play through alot of the pain that he could of when he was younger. I guess he's finally figured out that he's only got so long to go around the NFL, might as well do the best that you can.

I skimmed through the agrument about "Fragile Freddy". I think you could put the same tag on MANY #1 RB's. Most people would consider Edge a decent #1, and he's had as many injury problems as Taylor.

That said(and to answer the question), I think you great foundation for a team with those two.

I have Edge and Taylor in my money league... I took Edge at 1.07, and snagged Taylor at 2.04, b/c everyone else was thinking "Fragile Fred." I was very happy to get him there...
