3 MNF games for Farve....what are his stats like playing Monday nights? Any trends? I wouldn't take him too early b/c of this but I was just curious, thanks.

Not too sure, but I remember that game last year where he threw for like 400 yards and a bunch of TDs after his dad died. That was a monday night....but probably a little different.

Some interesting findings.

over the last 3 yrs Favre has overall averaged:

227 yards per game, 1.9 TD per game and a QB rating of 90.

His Monday Night games have been averaged as follows:

261 yards per game, 2.57 TD per game and a QB rating of 113.

So it would appear that Favre does perform better when playing on Mondays. I think most players tend to lift their game by knowing their performance is being nationally televised. I wouldnt really draft Favre any higher based on these findings though.

I think you will be regretting this prediction by the end of the year.

*Favre turns 35 this season. Hardly an "old man" for a QB. Especially when he looks as good as ever. A ton of QB's have had solid years after 35. Elway, Gannon, and Moon are just a quick few off the top of my head.

*Favre's receivers have another year of seasoning. Walker is entering the "breakout" season no. 3.

*The O-Line is one of the best in football and is intact from last year.

*Has Ahman Green and a solid backup RB in Najeh Davenport to take the pressure off of him.

I would suspect we will see similar numbers as last year for Favre. He may not quite crack 30 TDs again, but I think he'll at least be in the high 20's.[/quote]

Too bad the Packers don't have "Big Game" Nate Wayne with all these MNF appearances. The upside is that Wayne is mediocre the rest of the season.

I remember one MNF game where Wayne had a bunch of tackles and I might be wrong, but I also think he had an INT return for a TD or something like that. Believe it was against the Eagles. Won my IDP league matchup that week thanks to him.

Ahman Green doesn't take pressure off Favre. Favre takes pressure of Green. Green is the offense.

Favre is an INT machine. 22 last year? Crucial one in the NFC Championship Game (Where was that thrown?)

And you forget....he's old.
