I dropped him... Although it is normally against my religion to release a #1 RB to the wire, I had to... The line in Miami is awful... I don't see any small backs being able to do much there... I am a Minor fan b/c of his days at FSU, but no way do I waste a roster spot on a guy that's averaging 2 yards per carry...

If you want to take a shot at a Miami RB, you might want to try giving that Fullback Morris a try- I doubt either will do much-

I have Minor on my bench, but I'm sketchy on dropping a probable starter and picking up a backup(jackson). I think I'm just going to wait it out until it hits the public, whatever happens.

I have him . . i'm holding on to him . . . he's a better option than a back up RB. though Miami is awful, hopefully in a bye week he'll contribute with the game of his life 20 yards and TD

Wait till the preseason is over before dropping him. He may still start yet. I would only drop him if theres another starting RB to be had on the waiver wire.

Id rather have a known TD vulture like Alstott who Im sure is probably still available in most leagues.

IMO Minor is next to worthless. Drop him.

I wouldn't call Minor worthless. 1000 yards and 5 TDs is a very realistic possiblity if Morris doesn't take too many carries away. Minor makes a good 3rd/4th RB IMO.

i was really thinking Minor could do something this year. But how it looks, and what he says, he doesnt appear to have the stuff to be the full-time RB there.

No matter how poorly Morris does in his start this weekend, I think he wins the job. I really dont think Minor wants it.

I just think its nuts that teams would drop a starting RB. Yes he may lose the job as soon as this weekend. But until he does, I just dont understand it. Even if he plays awful, as long as he keeps the starting job, he will have value. Some team in everyones league is going to lose 1 or 2 RBs and be desperate. If its a keeper league, I can see holding on to young backups, but otherwise, why not go for the guy who will at least be on the field this year?
