Carr and Leftwich

Both of these guys are poised for breakout seasons and both are on teams that SHOULD be better than last year.

It's too early to tell how their respective teams will be, but how do you think these two will fare?

I would give Leftwhich the edge but both will be erratic this season. Carr is on a worse team and may have to pass more but he is a high risk for injuries with his O-line. I think breakout seasons are a year or two away for these 2.

I actually like both of their chances for success this season.

Leftwich has a better supporting cast for sure and that's probably what will hasten his development.

Carr should be much better this year as well with a solid RB for the first time in his career, a go to WR and an improving D.

I think the Jaguars and Texans both improved enough for Carr and Leftwich to suceed. If Carr doesn't breakout this year, then I don't expect him to ever do so. There was little improvement fro, 02 to 03, but that could be attributed to injury problems.

I expect Leftwich to do big things this year, he has the talent to be a top notch QB, and from what I have seen from him I think he may very well be starter quality by the end of the year.

Both of these QBs should have breakout seasons. I would give the slight edge to Carr.

personally i think both of these guys are still 1 year away form being at the top form. this year i have to give the edge to carr, one word andre!!!
