I would take C Mart over Tiki. Often overlooked, Martin consistently gets the yardage and he still has something left in him. I can easily see him getting the TDs this year to complement the yds. The Lamont Jordan factor is often being overblown. The Jets have expressed the fact that he is not their future back and they don't plan to utilize him any more.
More likely than not, CMart will have more TDs. Yards could be close, but you can't like Coughlin's infatuation with Dayne if you are a Tiki owner. Tiki's never been good around the goalline (see Levens stealing some goalline scores last year). Also, if Tiki starts fumbling again, Dayne could see a decent amount of action.
Based on fumbles and Ron Dayne, Id say CMart will have a much better yr.
SOS isnt as much of a factor to me based on the other issues. I know NYJ faces a stiff SOS against the run, however I also really am not a Tiki kind of guy and dont care for him on my teams. He fumbles too much, and has impressed Coughlin so much that Ron Dayne is going to get significant carries.
I think curtis is th obvisous choice frankly. they both had a lot of yardage and low td totals.
but the giants seem in dissaray to some measure. neither eli or warner seem to be that scary in the pocket.
However, manning is back, moss is looking for a follow up, and they got mcareins. that team should open it up a bit I would think. m,artin isn;t going to get worse than last year IMO.
C Martin could be one of only a few backs to get over 1000 yards rushing over his first 10 years. He had 1300 last year, and will get at least 1000 this year.
I too think this is a no brainer, and would take Martin for sure.
