What do you think about these trade options?

Postby Buck_meister » Tue Sep 10, 2002 9:42 pm

I'm trying to improve my team at running back and had posted earlier about my situation with my team. The only trade offers I have are as follows:

I give up Tom Brady (QB) for Charlie Garner (RB).

I give up Tom Brady (QB) for Jerome Bettis (RB).

I give up Tom Brady (QB) and Terrell Owens (WR) for Shaun Alexander (RB).

I give up Tom Brady (QB) and Derrick Mason (WR) for Warrick Dunn (RB).

Which do you think is the best trade option? Thanks for your input.

OMG!By far the Brady for Alexander and Owens.Wow!You'll REAP the benefits of that trade.Owens is a Top 3 WR and Alexanders a Top 3 RB,Brady's hardly a Top 10 QB!!!Hurry up and accept this! You'll rob that team!

On the trade I have Terrell Owens and they want both him and Tom Brady in exchange for Shaun Alexander. Do you think I need to hold on to Terrell Owens and go for one of the other trades where I just give up Tom Brady or Derrick Mason?

is brady ur #1 qb? if he is not even the alexander trade looks good.
the last one i wouldnt do. the first two i would consider if u r desperate for rbs and brady is ur backup.

Do not trade owens and brady for Alexander. If it was Green maybe... but it isn't. Alexander needs to prove himself again this year. He did nothing against Oakland week 1 on the ground, even tho he smoked them in their meeting last year. I would actually hold out if you can and wait one more week. None of those other 2 RB's have any real value at this point.

Try and give Brady and Mason for someone a bit better than Warick Dunn. If you can't do that, hold off, or go for the Alexander trade. Sure he had a bad game, BUT he could carry your team.

i think you should wait a bit on the alexander trade as well just because he hasnt looked all that impressive because without a passing game to compliment him then defenses can key in on stopping him and shut down the whole team that way. i would wait a few weeks and see if he falters again just to try and lower his trade value because once dilfer gets back he should do better at least so if you hold out and make that guy sweat about alexander having a bad year hes more likely to lessen the deal
