Andre Johnson

So many people talk about stud WR and the "next" stud WR. However, I have heard little talk about Andre Johnson. He had a very impressive year as a rookie last year -- but it went unnoticed thanks to Boldin's amazing performance. Carr is coming into his own and the team has a pretty favorable schedule overall. You have to expect Johnson to continue improving and have a very solid, if not "stud-like" season as someone's second WR. Overall, a good value pick from what I've seen in many drafts lately.

What's the consensus?

What round is he going in?

I thought he was like 4th round material. I'm not sure if I feel that comfortable taking him there. 5th round? i'd definitely take him.

He's not 4th round material. I"d take him in the 5th or 6th. He should easily get 1000+ yards with 6-8 tds as Carr and the rest of the Texans continue to improve.

I took him near the end of the 4th round in my 12 man, 25 player dynasty as my 2nd WR to Coles. I think pretty highly of him, especially in a dynasty.

I usually subscribe to the 'third year receivers breakout year' theory but this year i really dont like many(stallworth a little bit) if ANY of those choices. Therefore i have adjusted it to 2nd and 4th year guys(who i see as breaking out a bit early or SHOULD have broken out LAST year but didnt. AJ is VERY high on my list of value picks. I am pretty sure you can get him in the 5th round if not the 6th. I do think he will produce like a 3-4th rounder this year but that is just my opinion. Others to watch in my eyes are:
Burress,and Porter.

I agree. The guy is a beast.

i love this guy this year. and especially in a dynasty (even though sweetness got him in our dynasty)

this guy is built like a monster and should put up monster numbers. the texans are improving carr looks better and better. This guy could be great.

This guy is a great talent. I could see him putting up 1000+ yards and 7+ Tds. IMO, he will be a solid #2 receiver, and has the potential to put up elite numbers.

Well in another dynasty I took Coles and AJ too, so I wouldn't brag too much Sweetness (plus Chambers is my 3rd WR).

But anyway I am expecting big things from Johnson now and in the future. He is one of those guys that gets me excited and all tingly.
