Name that field: Here's the surest sign of how bad the economy is right now across the country.
The Green Bay Packers are struggling to sell the naming rights to legendary Lambeau Field.
Most people felt there would be no problem in finding a company willing to ante up for the right to slap its name on one of the league's most hallowed edifices, but that has hardly been the case.

OK. Now they've gone too far.

Being a Viking fan I have a deep disliking of the Pack, but I agree with ya on this Weaze. This is just wrong. Lambeau Field should be nothing other than Lambeau Field now, 10 years from now, and 1000 years from now. It's a sad world we live in when corporations have to stick their name on everything. It won't stop either. :-t

Thats simply NOT right ! maybe thats why they cant find a business to name it, most businessmen in the country know it could backfire.

(PS: Does anyone even know the name of the park where the '9ers play? I don't. I mean. Who doesn't still say Candlestick, or "the 'Stick"? I hear ESPN saying "the 'Stick" all the time. Must really PO whatever cyber com insurance company paid a gazillion $ for the name.)
