Very good choice, I like Lloyd much more then any of the other 49er WR's for this year, he is extremely talented and will get alot of garbage points, which is great for fantasy. I would look for him to get around 1000 yards and 5 TD's, not too shabby for a WW pickup
Kid can catch thats for sure, last year he had a couple awesome catches, and it from what I've read this preseason it wasnt an abberation. I guess it just depends on how well they play.

I'd take Lloyd over Woods in a heartbeat. In fact, I did just that in my main draft! Even if San Fran completely sucks, SOMEONE will put up at least decent numbers. From everything I've read/seen so far, Lloyd is guaranteed PT, the others are all vying with each other to play opposite him. I would never want to have to count on Lloyd, but as a sleeper/backup I think he's a pretty good option.
Christ, the way some of these people talk you would think they are assuming people out there are spending there number one draft pick on Woods ...
Taking Woods with your final pick of your draft does not equate to "high risk" ...and regardless of what selection is made.... the final pick of ones draft stands a great chance of becoming a teams first waiver casuality....so why not Woods ?? or why not any other gamble for that matter ??
Lloyd...will be long gone by this final pick scenerio and consequently doesnt even figure into this arguement.

Who said anything about a final pick scenario?
I didn't see the poster mention that at all, AAMOF the way he was talking, I took it as he may have been still available myself.

of course Woods wasnt mentioned by the originator... if you read the entire group of threads Muzz...you'll notice that I was first one to mention drafting him ...which consequently started the backlash comparisons of Woods to Lloyd.... which wasnt my point ... there IS NO comparison
I clearly state that I would "possibly" take Woods "very late" in a draft....
this statement alone should exclude any comparison considering Lloyd should be long gone before anyone entertains the thought of drafting Woods

The fact of the matter is the Thread starter never mentioned what RD, that was my point.
Your right, Lloyd SHOULD be gone that late in any draft, but that has nothing to do with Woods, or this thread.
Peace.
