Is he?? :-?

How bad is the injury and how long will he be out? I actually had this guy in a couple deep leagues on the outside chance he ends up in Miami.

Verron Haynes is not hurt. He will be getting carries tonight. I read alot of the pittsburgh post gazette and it sounds like the Steelers are going to hold on to Haynes, Brown and Parker to back up Bettis and Staley. Haynes can block better than the other two backs but I think Brown and Parker (claims 4.2 40) have much more of an upside. So I would say keep him on the waiver wire for now but any 1 of the above three could end up in Miami before the season starts. I will say this though, Verron is very injury prone. His first two seasons with Pitt were injury riddled.

P.S I registered just to fill you in on the false injury rumors. later.

Thanks for the help, great link above.

Final PIT RB stats from CAR game:
Dante Brown, 7-34, 4.9 avg
Verron Haynes, 5-30, 6.0 avg, 1 TD (6yd run)
Willie Parker, 13-28, 2.2 avg
Jerome Bettis, 5-17, 3.4 avg

Also to note, Lee Mays caught another pass from R'berger, this one a 38yd TD. Do not be surprised if the Steelers let Burress go as a FA next year and insert Mays into that spot.
